I picked probably one of the busiest wedding dates of the year!  To make things a little more interesting, I reside in Florida but wanted to have my wedding back home in Chicago since most of my family lives there.  Having a planner that was going to be remote honestly scared me a little, but Karen quickly took that worry away.  Her response time was impeccable for our phone consultation, and she was very knowledgeable. We had 2 phone consults and 1 in person when I was able to make it up for a weekend, and she came up with a great schedule for events leading up to the big day.  The day of my wedding I was really stressing out, but she helped throughout the day and kept things running smoothly. Karen made sure that the wedding parties knew when the ceremony was beginning, and she directed the guests to the place cards table and made sure the vendors were meeting expectations at the reception.  I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an affordable and efficient wedding planner.  She had a great attitude and was very easy to talk to, but was very professional at the same time.  Thank you True Companion Weddings for making our day amazing. :o) (Sarah U.)

Karen was AMAZING as a day-of coordinator. Because our reception venue is already so vibrant and colorful, we decided to go with mostly candles as centerpieces, instead of flowers. I hired Karen to do the set-up, to ease some of my worry on the wedding day about whether things would be in their proper place. Her prices are good, and she was really attentive to my needs. In fact, two weeks before the wedding, I was very worried about the set-up and she drove all the way into the city to meet with me again and go over day-of details, just to ease my stress.  Her performance on the day of the wedding was flawless. The task list was long—placecards, memory frames, gift table, guestbook table, candles in the bar, candles in the dining room, table numbers, run to the church after the ceremony and get the bridesmaids bouquets and altar displays for use as centerpieces and bar decoration and get back before guests arrive. Karen and her assistants pulled it off without a single problem. I would highly recommend this team and would hire them again in a heartbeat. (Annie K.)

Karen did a fantastic job for us! She was always so easy to contact and so timely in her response back. She continually asked if I needed help throughout the planning process, and se offered to help in any way needed. When we had to rearrange the day last minute so that I could see my Grandma in the hospital, I completely trusted Karen to handle accommodations at the hall. When we got there it was beautiful!
